8-Phoebe Ann DRIGGERS was born about 1838 in Bullock County,
Georgia, died before 1910 in Dunnellon, Florida, and was
buried in Dog Ear Cemetery AKA Black Dirt Cemetery. The
cause of her death was Old Age.

General Notes: Phoebe learned that her husband, James was killed in
battle, while fighting in the Confederate Army. She then married Wm.
Shipp, who had also served in the Confederate Army. Soon afterward,
James came home and phoebe learned that it was her brother-in-law,
David Strawn, who had died. James left the homestead upon hearing
that his wife had remarried. No one knows what became of him.
(Family story passed down for generations.)

James L. Strawn actually did die during the Civil War. He died of
disease in Chattanooga, Tennessee on 25 Aug. 1862.
